Undertale Fanfic? (Frisk's/Your POV)

Chapter 1: Your house

You wake up in your bed, scratching your eyes. "Hmm? its 4am already?" you thought to yourself. "Well, I have to get this over with". You scramble out of bed and tried to be as quiet as possible, trying not to make a sound.You wanted to keep the mission that you want to do as a secret, right? The bandage you have on your nose is pretty loose, so you decide to put another one. "That's better" you thought. Next you go and change your pyjamas into your regular striped clothes. While combing your hair you thought " I wonder how the creatures which live down there will look like" "but, i wonder if I would be able to survive the fall"

But besides your point, you put on your shoes, unlock the door, and leave the house.

Chapter 2: The surface

Outside your house, the village cottages around you were looking eerie and some of the lanterns there were on, and you walk down the village and spot a speck of the mountain "There it is, Mount Ebott" you said to yourself. "Whoever climbs the mountain will never return, well I wonder if that's true." "Im determined to find out if I could do the opposite." Exiting the village, you take the forbidden path where the people of your village never let people pass, especially children. "That's where the mountain is" , saying that, you climb the mountain. Rocks were jammed against your feet while climbing the mountain, gritting your teeth, you reached the top of the mountain and found a hole, a huge hole,in the middle of the mountain ." Woah" you said, your voice echoed due to the deepness of the hole." now I understand why the top of the mountain is flat now heh" you chuckled. " But why did it take so.. less time to reach the top..?" you mustered in confusion. "but besides that, I just have to drop down, right..?".......

Chapter 3: Bottom of the pit

" … " " ugh.. my.. head.. " You found yourself on a bed of golden flowers. They must have broken your fall. You get up, head still spinning " That must have been...a deep fall, and this must be the beginning of the pit, or cave.. I guess. Better check it out, but, I feel that something dangerous may be down here, since there will be creatures down here." You look cautiously around the flower area. "I guess this stick could work" you thought. You nervously walk to the end of the room, ready for the dangers within.

When you entered the other room you hear a loud "Howdy!". Startled by the sudden voice, you look down and spot a talking flower. It had 6 golden, yellow petals.

It could've been one of the golden flowers you saw earlier. "I'm Flowey! Flowey the Flower!" Said the pesky flower. "Hey.. You're new to the underground, aren't you?" Flowey Asked. Already intimated by the flower, you nervously mutter "um.. y-yes, yes I am" Saying that, Flowey tilted his head and assumed, "Golly, you must be so confused! Someone ought to teach you on how things work around here!" Flowey chuckled and said " Well, I guess little ol me will have to do!" You nod in response. "Ready?" "Here we go!" Suddenly you spot a resonating glowing red heart on the left side of your chest. "See that heart? That's your soul! The VERY culmination of your being!" Flowey explained. " Your soul will grow strong if it gains a lot of LV!" Not knowing what LV means, you ask, "What does it stand for?" " Flowey responded "It stands for LOVE of course, you want some LOVE don't you?" "Growing stronger?" you thought, and said "that seems like a good idea" you smiled. "Well let me share some with you!" Flowey winked. After he said that, a breeze flew by, "Down here, LOVE is shared through," "little white, 'Friendliness pellets' " friendliness pellets appears next to Flowey. "Here, take as many as you can!" He offered. The pellets came closer.. and closer… until one touched you.

"OW'' You shouted in pain. It felt like your chest was picked with a big pin. You collapse on the ground due to the hit. "YOU IDIOT'' Flowey shouted. Blood spread on your hand as you held where you've been hit. The flower had a creepy grin on his face " IN THIS WORLD, IT'S KILL OR BE KILLED!

WHY WOULD ANYONE PASS UP AN OPPORTUNITY LIKE THIS?"

The pellets surround you in a circle. You try and grasp air into you "That… hurt…. " The pellets get closer.. The world felt like it was spinning. "DIE " Flowey Laughed. You felt like your soul would shatter into a million pieces. "... this is the end, I suppose… ha.. haha"

but suddenly, all the pain and the pellets have disappeared. "What?" Flowey said, looking confused. And all of a sudden a fireball hit flowey and he disappeared. Whilst in front of you a tall, elegant looking figure stood there. "What a miserable creature" she scolded. "torturing such a poor, innocent youth." You sat there, afraid that the old lady may do something to you. The lady looks at you, and smiles gently "Ah, do not be afraid, my child" "I am Toriel, caretaker of the ruins." You smile back at Toriel. Toriel looks like the monster breed of a goat, or a goat breed. "I pass here everyday to see if anyone has fallen down, and you're the first human to come in a long time." She lends a land to you, "Come now, I will guide you through the catacombs." "Thank you.. " you say and take her hand.

Chapter 4: Ruins

You and Toriel enter the ruins. Leaves and algae grow through the purple bricks. Toriel climbs the stairs into the next room, you see a faint yellow glow at the bottom of the stairs."Oh, what is that?" You examine the light. "Cool! it healed me." It says,"The shadows of the Ruins looms above, filling you with determination" You smile, and save the game.

You enter the next room "The ruins are filled with puzzles" Toriel explains, "ancient diversions between buttons and doorkeys, please adjust yourself to the sight of them." "Ohh" You understand the puzzle, " We have to press the buttons in this room right?" you ask. "Yes, that is it my child." Toriel smiles.

"All what you have to do in the next puzzle is to press the switches" You see the switches on the bricked wall, along with some.. graffiti?? "I've labeled the ones which you have to press" Toriel said. "Nevermind , It's not graffiti" You head to the first switch. The writing next to the switch says, "Please press this switch, - Toriel". You press the switch. " Good!" Toriel said proudly. "Now press the second one." You nod and walk to the other switch. "Please also press this switch, - Toriel". *Click!* The puzzle is solved. "Good job my child!" Toriel smiles at you proudly. You follow Toriel to the next room.

In this room you find yourself with Toriel and a Dummy. "As a human living in the Underground, monsters may attack you," Toriel said. "In order to get through this, you will enter a fight." "When you are in a fight, please do not hurt the enemy, instead, strike up a friendly conversation" Toriel advised. "Okay Toriel" You obeyed. "Here," Toriel points to the Dummy. "Practice it on the dummy." You nod at Toriel and approach the Dummy. "*check Dummy" "0 atk 0 def, has a button for its eye, you are the apple of my eye" "..." The Dummy just stands there. "*talk" "Hello there Dummy." you talked to the Dummy. "..." It seems not too much for a conversation. "You won! You earned 0 exp and 0 gold" Toriel's happy with you. "Ah, you're good, you are very good!" Toriel clapped. You smile and say "Thank you" "Let us proceed to the next room." Toriel said.

"The puzzle will be up ahead," "I wonder if you could solve it." You see a pathway which leads to, perhaps another puzzle. You and Toriel walk up to the puzzle. But, as you're about to reach Toriel, a Froggit jumped at you. Croaking, the little frog waited for your first move, but you were too startled to do anything. "*Spare". as you spared the Froggit in the tensious atmosphere, Toriel came to the rescue and gave the Froggit a hard look, eventually leading the Froggit to run away. "You won! You earned 0 exp and 0 gold" You walk to the puzzle with Toriel, trying to comprehend what happened just now. Knowing how hard it may be to protect yourself, "it's just a Froggit" you thought. "Why should I be scared of a Froggit?" The puzzle ahead of yourself, is a room full of spikes on the floor. It looks like the only puzzle - from what you already saw - which is really bland and straight forward.. literally. "This is the puzzle, but.. take my hand, please." Toriel said. Knowing that you can trust her, you take her hand. Toriel starts to lead you through the spikes. In every step Toriel takes, the spikes under her feet disappear. You stare at the process in amazement, clear water shining at the sides. Toriel leading you to the end of the puzzle. She stops for a moment "The puzzles seem to be too dangerous for now" She admitted, and leads you to the next room.

The next room has a hallway eventually leading to a door up ahead. And strangely this was the only room which had only one individual pillar at the side. Toriel looks at you and says "You have done excellently thus far, my child, but I have a difficult request to ask of you." her face dropped. "Don't worry about it Toriel." you say with a courageous expression. "I'll be ready" you justified. Toriel's silent for a moment, and asks, "I want you to walk to the end of the room by yourself, forgive me for this." then Toriel rushed to the end of the room, too far for you to see ahead, you start walking through the corridor. Purplish tiles pressing against your feet, you take deep breaths and keep walking.

After what felt like forever, you see a pillar at the end of the room. You think, "I trust Toriel," you stopped walking." but this walk is *huff* taking too long- im *puff* tired." Suddenly you noticed something. "Wait is that-'' Toriel unhid from the pillar. "Toriel..!" you felt relieved. Toriel smiles and says "Don't worry, I won't leave you, I was just hiding behind the pillar the entire time." you smiled back at her. "Thank you for trusting me." Toriel said gently. "I will have to do some business after this.. wait don't worry, I will give you my cellphone." "You can call me anytime you like, be good, alright?"

A few minutes pass by, and you start thinking, "I know Toriel told me to stay here but, I kinda want to see what up ahead." you stand up "Besides, im determined to find out." As soon as you left the room, the froggit you encountered earlier came up to you and said, "Ribbit, ribbit (excuse me human,) " Froggit said." (when battling monsters, through the battle or at the end of the battle, they may not want to fight you anymore, so when this happens, please use some mercy human.) ribbit." The Froggit advised.

*Ring ring* you pick up the phone. "Hello my child, this is Toriel, I just called to ask you what pie flavour you would prefer. Do you prefer cinnamon, or butterscotch?" "Hmm" you thought carefully. "I think I prefer (P/F), Toriel" You decided. "Oh right, thank you for your preference!" *Click*

*Ring ring* "Hello, this is Toriel." Toriel greeted. "This may be a random question but, do you have any allergies?" She asked. " (Yes / No) I (do / don't) have some allergies." You explained thoroughly. "Right, right, I understand" *Click*

Chapter 5: Small cottage

You approach the end of the ruins, and you hear a familiar voice. "Oh dear, that took longer than I thought it would," "Is that, Toriel?" you thought. "oh! it is!" Toriel suddenly noticed you and immediately approached you. "Oh, my child, are you hurt?" worried, she examined you to see if you had any bruises or cuts. "Hmm, not a scratch, impressive!" Toriel praised "But…still, I shouldn't have left you there for so long." Toriel said guiltily. "It was irresponsible of me to keep the surprise from you like this- err.. well, it seems that I can't hide it any longer." You smile in amazement. "Come now my child"

Chapter 6: Toriel's home

You enter Toriel's house with her. "I've been waiting to tell you this," Toriel said with excitement. "Surprise!" I've made Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie." You gasped "Really? that's so cool!" "And here's another one, follow me." You follow Toriel through the households, with the wooden floor feeling strong. Which makes the place pleasingly aesthetic.

"This is it, your own room, I hope you like it" Toriel pats your head. "I suppose that I think that you should take a nap, my child." Suggested Toriel. "Yeah, I think I should go to bed, I had quite the fall" You agreed. "Well, goodnight my child, sleep tight."

[im.. afraid…]

You wake up from your bed. Seems like you got quite the nap huh? The bed felt bouncy and like it was filled with a lot of comfy cotton. Your room has a red colour scheme along with your bed and your cupboards as well. You find a plate of Butterscotch-Cinnamon pie on the floor. You decide to keep the pie stored in a bag and keep it for later with you. "The pie smells..nice..." you said to yourself. "Thank you Toriel.."

[But..i..]

[i… i have to..]

you get out of your room and approach Toriel, she seems to be reading a book about snails on her reading chair. "Up already my child?" Toriel asked in deferential. "Yes, yes I am." Toriel smiles and says " Do you want to see this book I'm reading? it's called '72 uses for snails', how about it?" You smile "Sure! I'd love to". You sit on Toriel's lap and start reading with her, knowing more knowledge about snails than you ever should..

but, something seems to bother you..

[i have to ask her…]

[if i could…leave..]

[her company is great but..]

[ugh.. WHY DID I COME HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE?]

[stupid.. me..]

"Excuse me Toriel, but can I.. ask you something?" You questioned the lady. "Yes, of course my child, what is it?"

Toriel asked.

[This is the first time I've felt.. happy though..]

[I've never been treated this way before from the villagers..]

"umm.."

[But i feel strange and… homesick.. somehow…]

"Toriel, when can I go home?" you ask nervously.

Toriel pauses for a moment, and avoids the question. "Um..do you want to know another snail fact?"

"..."

you stay silent. " Do you know that snails, talk, really, slowly?" Toriel said. "Just kidding! Snails don't talk."

"..."

you stay silent. "... I have to do something," "Stay here." Toriel ordered, and went out of the room.

[... she's gone, I can go down the stairs now ]

[...]

"You want to know how to get "home" do you not?"

"The door up ahead leads to the rest of the underground"

"I'm going to destroy it"

"No one will ever leave again"

"Now, be a good child and go upstairs."

[...]

"Many years ago, I've seen it happen, multiple times"

"When they fall,

"they come,

"they leave,

"they die."

"You naive child, please do not come here, they, ASGORE will kill you. "

" I'm only protecting you, do you understand? "

"..."

"Go to your room."

"Do not try to stop me,

this is your final warning."

[...]

"You want to leave so badly?"

"Hmph, you're just like the others..

there's only one solution to this,

prove yourself,

prove to me that you're strong enough to survive."

Chapter 7: Toriel's heartache

Toriel blocks your way.

She starts her fire magic and attacks you, getting hit by it felt sore, and having a huge burn on the shoulder. "I never wanted it to be this way.." *Act (*talk ) "Toriel.. please… I.. I don't want to fight you, I know that you don't want this to be the end." You protested, trying not to make Toriel more worried then she already is. "..." Toriel's silent, throwing more fireballs at you.

"It seems that talking cannot solve this" then…. you remember what a certain Froggit said…

use some.. *mercy. "....." Toriel's still silent. "I won't give up..!" *mercy (spare).

"What are you doing?" Toriel said. You sweat from how hot this place is. Another fireball nearly hits you, your feet start to shake from moving a lot. *mercy (spare), you spared Toriel.

"FIGHT me or LEAVE" Toriel shouted in frustration. Throwing more fireball attacks. But, you've shown no remorse on sparing Toriel. *mercy "Please let this work…" You thought to yourself.

"... What are you trying to prove this way..?" Toriel's eyes are starting to tear up. You got burned by multiple fireballs, straining you. But you got yourself to get up. "I.. can't… *cough* I can't die.. I have to stay determined" *MERCY (spare).

The smoke the fire caused to come, made it harder for you to see what's happening. The lack of air made your head start spinning.

You expected one of Toriel's fireballs to hit you, but to your surprise, Toriel attacks on its own, and are starting to miss.

[...]

The smoke clears out…

"I know you want to go home, but,

(*spare)

but please, go upstairs now,

(*spare)

I know we can have a good life here…

(*spare)

Why are you making this so difficult?

(*spare)

Please go to your room."

(*spare)

"…"

(*spare)

"ha.. ha.. pathetic, is it not? I can't save even a single child"

(*spare)

"... "

(*spare)

"No, I understand, you will be unhappy trapped down here,

the ruins are really small once you get used to them,

it won't be right for you to grow up in a place like this"

"My expectations, my loneliness, my fear,

for you my child, I'll put them aside.. "

" If you truly wish to leave the ruins, I will not stop you." "But once you leave, please don't come back.. I hope you understand."

You get a warm hug from Toriel.

" Goodbye, my child "

" Well well well, look who shows up " A familiar face stood in front of you.

" You again? " you said in annoyance. "It's me Flowey, hee hee."

"You did it, you spared the life of a single person."

"Heehee, I bet you feel really great, you didn't kill anyone this time." Flowey antagonised.

"Wait 'This time'?" You thought.

"But what if you met a relentless killer?" "You'll die, and you'll die, and you'll die."

"Until you tire of trying." You shiver in fear.

"Well, do what you want, little peasant,

I'll be watching you… "

Chapter 8: A Snowy Forest

You get out of the Ruins, the door shut tight the second you step out of there." Brr.. this place is cold, I may have to raise my shirt's collar." You find yourself in a forest filled with snow, logical enough, it won't actually snow in the underground, the monsters there may have used their magic to do that. "This place looks nice." you walk forward the snowy forest

A few minutes pass by after you walk the path, you hear a weird sound.

You look behind, "Strange" no one was there. "Eh, I must be hearing things. As then you keep walking forward. You see a stick in front of you. it's too heavy to pick up, so you keep the stick there and walk forward

*SMASH*

You hear a loud sound behind you, and the stick was broken in half. Who did this?

"Uhhh.. okay, I was not hearing things at all." You hear footsteps coming towards you. "I must go forward." You speed walk to the bridge up ahead the footsteps are getting faster, and faster and faster as you go.

" H u m a n "

said a mysterious voice. The voice is strangely shrill and deep, which made you freeze on spot.

" D o n ' t y o u k n o w h o w t o g r e e t a n e w p a l ? "

" T u r n a r o u n d

a n d s h a k e m y h a n d."

You turn around and see a strange, figure about your height, standing there.

Reluctantly, you reach out your hand-

*Pftftftpfptpfpftfffffffff..f.ffff

(insert whoopee cushion noises)

"heh heh heh heh, the old whoopee cushion in the hand trick,

it's always funny"

The monster laughed.

"anyways, you're a human right?"

"that's funny"

"im sans, sans the skeleton."

"well my brother papyrus,

he's a human hunting, FANATIC." said the skeleton. "speaking of papyrus, that's him over there, follow me."

You follow Sans and see another tall skeleton heading your way.

" quick, behind that conveniently shaped lamp."

You follow Sans' orders and hide behind the conveniently shaped lamp which is conveniently here at the conveniently convenient time. How nice coincidences. Someone approached Sans, which you suppose is Papyrus, Sans' brother.

"sup, bro" greeted Sans.

" YOU KNOW WHAT'S 'SUP' BROTHER!"

" IT'S BEEN EIGHT DAYS AND YOU STILL HAVEN'T, RECALIBRATED. YOUR. PUZZLES!! " Poor Papyrus, sounded annoyed. "WHAT ARE YOU EVEN DOING HERE?" Papyrus asked Sans.

"staring at this lamp, it's really cool. do you wanna look-" SANS I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR THAT! WHAT IF A HUMAN COMES THROUGH HERE? ALL YOU DO IS SIT AROUND AND BOONDOGGLE!! " Papyrus shouted. " YOU GET LAZIER AND LAZIER EVERYDAY!"

Sans, took a moment to think and then shrugged and said " c'mon bro, i've done a ton of work today,

a skele-ton."

(ba-dum bshhh)

"UGH"

"c'mon bro, you're smilin'"

"I AM AND I HATE IT!" "*SIGH* WHY DOES SOME AS GREAT AS ME, HAVE TO DO SOME WORK JUST TO GET SOME RECOGNITION?"

"wow"

"seems like you're working yourself

down to the bone."

(ba-dum bshhh)

" I WILL ATTEND TO MY PUZZLES,

AS FOR YOU, PUT A LITTLE MORE.. HMM

BACKBONE INTO IT.

NYEH HEH HEH!" laughed Papyrus as he left.

"okay, you can come out now"

"you oughta get going, kid, cause he might come back, and if he does,

you'll have to sit through more of my hilarious jokes." Sans advised.

Chapter 8: Skeleton brothers

You enter the depths of the forests , and as soon as you enter, Papyrus notices instantly.

"SANS OH MY GOD IS THAT. A HUMAN??!!" Papyrus asks. Sans points behind you.

"uh, actually, i think that's a rock."

"OH"

"hey, what's that in front of the rock?"

"*GAAAAASP*" Papyrus gasped. "OH MY GOD IS THAT A HUMAN?" Papyrus asks again.

"yes"

"WOWIE I FOUND A HUMAN!! UNDYNE WILL- IM GONNA- I'LL BE SO, POPULAR, POPULAR, POPULAR!!" Papyrus looks at you.

"*AHEM* HUMAN! YOU SHALL NOT PASS THIS AREA." " I THE GREAT PAPYRUS WILL STOP YOU, THEN I WILL CAPTURE YOU, THEN YOU WILL BE DELIVERED TO THE CAPITAL, THEN, THEN!!! I'M NOT SO SURE WHAT WILL HAPPEN NEXT BUT, GO THROUGH MY PUZZLES, IF YOU DARE!" "NYEH HEH HEH!!"
